Privacy policy
CVWOW is designed to keep private profile data private and to publish only what you explicitly choose.
Data we collect
Account identity, profile and CV content, uploaded files, product settings, and privacy-conscious usage events needed to provide the service.
How data is used
To authenticate you, save and render CVs, generate requested exports, operate sharing features, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. When you request AI extraction, the selected document content is sent to the configured AI provider to perform that extraction.
AI document imports
Imported resume files are processed for the requested extraction and are not added to your CVWOW media library. The structured draft remains private and editable until you choose to save or publish it. Review every extracted fact before using it.
Publishing and visibility
CVs begin private. Unlisted and public profiles use a privacy-filtered published snapshot. Birth date, age, private references, and hidden contact fields are excluded by default.
Your controls
You can change field visibility, disable analytics where required, unpublish CVs, delete uploads, manage connections and ratings, and request account deletion.
Security and retention
We use server authorization, database row policies, restricted storage paths, and audit records. Export and moderation records may be retained for security and legal obligations.
